This page will be to organize and collect resources pertaining to my personal employment but also resources that can hopefully be used in general for anyone seeking employment. I hope to eventually create an employment learning resource if one has not already been created.

Type of job [edit]
I think having a job that is 20 hours a week would be ideal for a student. It would be ideal if I worked 3 days out of the week and 2 of the days were 8 hours shifts and then the last day would be 4 hours. I would need to be making around $12.50 an hour to match what I was previously making. I would like the hours to be during the day also. All this criteria meets basic bank teller job requirements so that Is why I plan to target banks for employment.
Strategy [edit]
My strategy will be to:
- Get a volunteer job
- Go to the Texas Workforce Commission office and talk to them
- Apply at banks
Volunteer job [edit]
The volunteer job will be helpful because they are easier to obtain because the employer views the volunteer as free labor. Hopefully I can find a technical job with computers to demonstrate my high competence with computers.

Texas Workforce Commission [edit]
The Texas Workforce Commission I hope will be able to find employers that want to find me. Hopefully they can hook me up with a job and then find me a job in my relevant field.
