[edit] School of Psychology Restructuring
My ideas for the structure of the Psychology School:
After looking around at other Wikiversity pages and reading the Wikiversity:Naming_conventions page, it seems that the Portal:Psychology, Topic:Psychology, and Psychology pages are out-of-place/redundant. Perhaps, we could redirect these to School:Psychology just like the School of Linguistics does for their page? I think this may also eliminate confusion for those who happen upon our similar-yet-different psychology sites as they currently stand.
So, as I understand the naming conventions described in the Wikiversity:Naming_conventions page, it seems that the general hierarchy surrounding Psychology could be similar to as follows:
- enWV namespace
- Portal:Psychology → Redirect to School:Psychology
- Portal:Social_sciences
- School:Psychology
- Topic: Psychology → Redirect to School:Psychology
- /Psychology → Redirect to School:Psychology
- Topic: Department/Division of General Psychology
- Course - Introduction to Psychology
- Course - Introduction to Statistics
- Course - History of Psychology
- Topic: Department/Division of Clinical Psychology
- Course - Psychopathology
- Course - Theories of Psychotherapy
- Topic: Department/Division of Cognitive Psychology
- Course - Memory, Perception, and Learning
- Topic: Institute of Cognitive Science
- Course - Artificial Intelligence
- Links to - Department of Cognitive Psychology; School of Philosophy; School of Computing; School of Linguistics; etc
- Topic: Etc,
- main namespace: etc, etc...
- Topic: Psychology → Redirect to School:Psychology
- School:Psychology
