[edit] Contact Information

I will try to be on the IRC channel as often as I can be, but failing that, these are the few other (best) ways to get into contact with me:
  • E-mail: kgw216@nyu.edu
  • AIM: okasan8675

[edit] To-Do List

[edit] Fine Arts Portal

  • Finish summaries of the different schools in Fine Arts.
  • Find people who are actually interested in putting in the legwork necessary to create interactive lesson plans, most especially when it comes to The School of Art Crafts and the dance and theater sections of The School of Performance Art.
  • Figure out if and how "New Media" fits into Fine Arts, in so far as flash, game design, and graphic design may or may not be applicable, at least from a theoretical standpoint, to the ethos of the department.

[edit] Culinary Arts as part of Practical Arts and Sciences?

  • Start a Culinary Arts school, focusing not only on methedology behind cooking, but also construction of recipies and how tastes fit together.
  • Find those damn lesson plans from when you TAed Home Ec. III (Tayla said she might have them, e-mail her.)

[edit] Color as a concept or as a school?

  • Find someone to bounce concept of a School of Color off, and then bludgeon this person repeatedly until you either a) give up on said ludicrous idea, or b) have a lesson plan structure.

You really want this? a school of colour, a academy that sensitises itself to the vibrations of spirit that colour provides? With practical, developing scientific and artistic theory that becomes the same thing? and even has a lesson plan structure (though for anyone in higher education in the UK that implies rigid manegerial control, and a life of meaningless paperwork). Where do you want it delivered?

[edit] Figure out how to design lesson plans for fashion without having pinning manequins readily available

  • Sometimes, I'm really not that smart.

take the issey Miyake route, and play with the qualities of fabrics straight onto a moving breathing human being. (usually availiable in a classroom setting).

[edit] About Me

I used to be a revolutionary, but I quit. Mainly making my way through the entertainment production world until I've built up my cover as a sufficiantly drug-addled Hollywood queen, aquired a "significant" amount of money, then have plans to seduce a few engeneers out of MIT to start my top secret plans involving the use of excessive vigilantism.
I teach 4th graders in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. I'm also white.
I also really want to write a pilot for a television show involving muppets.
