Hi! I am 19 years old and a sophomore at UNC-Charlotte. I have lived in North Carolina my whole life & couldn't imagine being anywhere else! I plan on teaching elementary grade children, with a concentration on Social Studies. I really look forward to learning about the educational practices in other countries!

- The types of instruction and learning theories used in America; mainly being Behaviorism, Information Processing & Constructivism.
|
- The types of instruction and learning theories used in Germany & Bulgaria
|
- Similar to America, Germany uses a blend of the same three theories in their education system.
- They seem to have a stronger pull towards constructivism. This can even be seen in the setup of their classrooms, which have "self-study" areas where students can independently work.
- Germany also suggests a "student-centered" curriculum.
- Like America, Germany also has a strong focus on technology in curriculum.
