The Friedman Lab is looking for new students, collaborators and volunteers, and is active in the Wikiversity:Mentors program. We like to work with people whose interests are similar to ours, as described on our main page and in our Research Projects section. For email updates on lab events, activities and new developments, just write to Anne Friedman (reseal05@gmail.com).

I try to be responsive to you and to provide valuable feedback on your work. With an eclectic background in Biology, Writing and Computer Science, I am fairly knowledgeable about a broad range of topics and enjoy communicating with other Wikimedians. You will usually get a response from me within 40 hours, and often within 5 hours. I may be unavailable for a period of a few days, and am occasionally away from the computer for several weeks at a time. If I expect to be offline for more than a week, I will post the dates on my personal page.

I have a few expectations for lab members:

  1. First and foremost, I expect you to care about whether you produce valid results, complete your projects in a timely fashion, and maintain a collegial and positive environment for others. My standards are basically the same as those detailed in Wikiversity:Research and Wikiversity:Civility.
  2. Please try to spend at least a few hours a week on your research, or on research-related content development. I put a lot of time and energy into helping other Wikimedians, and you should definitely reciprocate!
