A transistor is a three terminal electronic component which is made of semiconductor material. Transistors are fundamentally current amplifiers. The transistor is essentially a resistor which allows current to flow. The word transistor is a contraction of current-transferring resistor. The three parts of a transistor are the base, collector, and emitter. There are two main types of transistors, namely: 1.PNP 2.NPN The differnce can be only seen by the arrow at the emitter
