This needs a better explanation—for example, what is transformative editing? The Jade Knight 23:53, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
It sounds like some kind of experiment in "thinking outside the box".....take an existing text out of its original context and "run with it" in a new direction. I've been thinking that maybe we should narrowly define the contents of the Wikiversity namespace. Can we put everything that can be thought of as a learning project into the main namespace and all content development projects into the topic namespace? Maybe the Wikiversity namespace should just be for policies, guidelines and a few other items that are truly meta-content about the Wikiversity project. --JWSchmidt 15:54, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- The characterization of this Wikiendeavor as some kind of experiment in "thinking outside the box", taking an existing text out of its original context and "running with it" in a new direction seems to this Participant who introduced the Page as being right on the mark.
- A New Page, "Topic:Transformative Editing", duplicating "Wikiversity: Transformative Editing" has just been produced; so, if "Wikiversity: Transformative Editing" seems not to qualify for the "Wikiversity:" Namespace, there would be no problem with deleting "Wikiversity: Transformative Editing" and perhaps later restoring it, if it does turn out to qualify for the "Wikiversity:" Namespace.
