They probably should be, but the pages say they are subdivisions of the Division of Pure Math, allowing them to be in the topic namespace. --Mathboy965 15:40, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

One major difficulty many people have with math obviously is the question of proofs. Will each topic supply its own version of the how-to for proofs, should it be in foundations/logic, or what? Proof strategies definitely aren't congruent when comparing prob/stat to algebra. Mo Anabre 05:23, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
