[edit] Accessible publications for Mechanical Engineering

It would be a very users attracting method to publish list or access to freely accessible publications. (it could also be a good source for interesting news and topics on ME)

Here I post 2 I've found so far, feel free to add more!

[edit] Organization?

Departments like the French department have an obvious structure to the courses. For example, if you know nothing about French, it's fairly intuitive to start with French I, then move to French II, etc. Instead of just having a massive list of courses, do we want to develop some sort of structure? For example, have an introductory courses section, having statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, etc, then move on to intermediate courses with solid mechanics, then have more advanced courses which assume the students have the basic knowledge.

Might want to check out topic:engineeringand/or engineering for basic courses like statics, dynamics, thermo, etc. rather than redo them all from a mechanical engineering viewpoint. Mirwin 03:11, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] removal of animation

comment by IP: "sorry, but this animation conflicts with my subconcious motion-detection-mechanisms..." - see [1]. And this is the animation: Gears animation.gif, ----Erkan Yilmaz uses the Wikiversity:Chat (try) 06:30, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
