Welcome to the Department of Technical Theatre, part of the Division of Performance Art.
Technical Theatre actually describes a variety of disciplines across a wide variety of venues, including theatrical performances, television, film, and even concert settings. It encompasses, but is not limited to, construction and rigging scenery, hang and focus of lighting instruments, construction and procurement of costumes, application of makeup, and the recording and mixing of sound.
