"prostho" means industerial restoation while "dontics' means dental so prosthodontics means industerial dental restoration in the act that alltreatment of modern dentistry is restorstion of natural decayed dental struure andrestore it by any restorative material

general people can say that all dental ttt. is prosthodontcs

but here as we talk to specialized researcher we should say that tis word should dvided into two sections the first one is the removable section where restoration can be removed easly from patient mouth. while the second one is not and called fixed--Ibrahim kh. rashad 05:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
