[edit] Welcome

Welcome to the Philosphy of Language Department part of the School of Philosophy. The Philosophy of Language is the systematic study of the language used in moral and religious contexts. For hundreds of years, scholars have attempted to define words such as 'right' and 'wrong', 'good' and 'bad' and in more recent times have sought to use religious language arguments to prove or disprove the validity of arguments for the existence of God.
