Petrophysics is the study of the parameters related to the rocks. In petroleum upstream industry, this issue pertains to the studying parameters that involved in reserve estimation and fluid flow simulation(e.g. Porosity, Permeability, Fluid saturations). recently, this science became one of the major parts of the reservoir studies and reservoir characterization.
