Humanities [edit]
The Humanities are chiefly concerned with the dialog between the Ancient World and the World to come. The current generation is responsible for passing the legacy forward, building upon the collective knowlege and wisdom of its ansestry, something of value for its decendancy. If the Human Race has learned anything from the past, it knows that the cycle of war and empire has been made obsolete by revolution and democracy. The ecovillage paradigm is yet another innovation in human thinking that not only looks forward to new ideas for improving the Human Condition but also behind to time-honored ways of working the soil, getting along, and learning from Nature.
