This is a lesson part of the module The Web Economy out of the Open Source ERP/Executive Diploma course conducted by a private university.

Topics[edit | edit source]

  • Google been the most pervasive application covering many appealing applications such as GoogleEarth, Android Phone project, Google Widget toolkit and Chrome browser is fast becoming the Single Window by which all users can rely on for everything else.
  • By having the visual geographical interface of Google Earth representing location in dynamic dimensions can then incorporate location data of ERP Warehousing which will give ERP a very immersed human feel.

  • If Google is to incorporate the idea above, what will happen to conventional ERP or even open source ones?
  • How would such an application appeal to today's users?
  • What other features should it have that can make it even more appealing?
