I teach Computers and Job Skills to Adults, here are some of the connections I have discovered or made:
- Resumes <--> Know Your Audience
- Wages in Different Fields <--> Supply and Demand
- Keeping Numbers and Text Seperate in Spreadsheets <--> So the numbers can have formulas used with them.
- Doing math on dates or times in MS Excel <--> MS Excel sees any date as a number, which coresponds to the number of days since 1/1/1900
