merge [edit]
I suggest merging everything on this page wiki farm into Wikibooks: Starting and Running a Wiki Website/Hosted Wikis. --DavidCary 23:04, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

- I don't think either page will get edited much until there are integrated watchlists widely used. See:
- Wikipedia:Integrated watchlists
- I only happened to see your comment here because I just found out about this today:
- I entered my watchlists for the smaller wikis outside Wikipedia and the Commons. I then tried out the integrated watchlist and noticed your message. Normally, I rarely check watchlists for smaller wikis unless I am in current discussions.
- I don't think it is a good idea to change this page to the other format because a lot of info would be lost. Maybe combine the formats. It doesn't matter to me where the page is placed. Here or there is fine.
- See wikipedia:Wiki farm and wikipedia:Comparison of wiki farms. They link to this page. So those links would have to be corrected if this page is moved.
- I don't have time to invest in editing any of these pages, though. --Timeshifter 20:06, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
