May I suggest that this page be named by something more specific? When I saw this page in recent changes, I had no idea what it was about (still don't, but that's another matter ;-)). I think it would be better off named "Basic definitions of <insert whatever it is that it's defining>". Cheers. Cormaggio 17:07, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

I can see that this is the core of maths, but it is not "basic" in the way I would use the word.
