Talk:Programming Logic

I don't want to be negative here, but I am not sure that I agree that this course is necessary or even useful. Many of the proposed topics such as variables should be covered in Introduction to Programming and then in the languages themselves - and that should pretty much cover everything. I would much rather see an introductory algorithms class or ... I'm not sure what else, I'll have to think about it. Dmclean 23:38, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I'd nominate this article for deleting/merging but I don't know how!

Topic namespace?[edit source]

I'm curious, as I'm rather new to such things: wouldn't it be more appropriate for this article to be in the Main namespace, as opposed to the Topic namespace? It seems as though topics are meant for departments within schools, while this seems to be analogous to a class... any thoughts, anyone?

EDIT: By the way, as soon as I'm cleared up on this, I intend to start an Intro to Algorithms class, as referenced above by Dmclean. Ciao!

I think there is a lot of confusion in general about the namespaces on Wikiversity. For whatever reason, the guidlines won't stick in my brain (I've skimmed them here and there, but can't seem to find what I read right now). Do you (or anyone else reading this) know of a good explination overview of how Wikiversity is organized? Perhaps one with a graphical illustration?
