Sections that Need Verification[edit source]

The following sections need help the most:

Row ü (Yu) Notes[edit source]

This section needs to have all of the English sound equivalents double checked by someone who knows what the English equivalent sounds for these finals should be.

Looks mostly correct, except one part, which I fixed. "eeoon" is a kind of moronic way of representing this sound, however, IMO. It'd be better to simply give German parallels, as it's nothing at all like "eeoo" looks. The Jade Knight (d'viser) 10:58, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the section Final Semivowels (yùnmǔ 韵母)

Note: parenthesis in the row name indicate the first letter of the final when there is no initial. Parenthesis elsewhere indicate the irregular spelling of a final when it is without an initial.

Shouldn't it read:

Note: parenthesis in the column name indicate the first letter of the final when there is no initial. Parenthesis elsewhere indicate the irregular spelling of a final when it is without an initial.

Practice Quizzes[edit source]

Currently, when you click "submit" for any practice quiz, it submits for all three. This should be fixed. The Jade Knight (d'viser) 10:55, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phonetic Notation[edit source]

Would it be possible to give the pronunciation in IPA (or some other form of phonetic notation)? Guessing what the example words might be pronounced like in the particular English dialect of the writer can be quite difficult sometimes, and may lead to confusion. This applies both to this page, and to the quiz page. 1700-talet (talk) 09:52, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
