It is important to define free software correctly. See The Free Software Definition - especially if this course/module is to be used by the billions of people likely to encounter technology for the first time in the next coming years.

- Refer to "GNU/Linux", rather than "Linux" to acknowledge the contribution of the free software community and the GNU project.
- "Piracy" etc. - see Some Confusing or Loaded Words and Phrases to Avoid (or use with care)
