I recommend that this article be based upon Frank Wood's Business Accounting UK GAAP 1 and 2 (First edition). It provides a sound foundation for introducing the Accounting systems and general terminology that is generally accepted globally. Another reason is that the material has been used suitably in over 50 countries successfully for over 15 years by people studying towards many different qualifications and the reference resource materials on the web affiliated with it are extensive and accessible by anyone.
