Experiences[edit source]

I used debian-501-i386-netinst.iso to put debian on an older Dell laptop. It went well. The installer got me up and running quickly without any confusion at all. The network setup was darned near automated. I just accepted the defaults and blazed on through. There's a few problems with the wireless device, but I'm a happy camper.

Next step is to try debian-501-amd64-netinst.iso on a Compaq Presario desktop to use as a production studio. I've done a dress rehearsal already and it's very fast. Yeoman 13:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
