Rhythm and Note Duration not the same thing[edit]

The article says that "Rhythm (or duration) is the length of time the note is played." That's not correct. Rhythm is more like the pattern (the intervals) that the notes are played in (with pauses and rests). (That's not the 'technical' definition, but it is something along those lines.) Note duration (yes, how long the notes are sustained) is not rhythm. B1810 12:09, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
