Structural biology

Structural biology is a biological subfield of molecular biology, biophysics biochemistry and cell biology focused on the determination of biomolecular, supramolecular, cellular and tissue structures of organisms. The techniques employed for this purpose range from AFM to electron microscopy, various diffraction and molecular spectroscopy techniques, as well as analytical techniques such as GC-HPLC-Mass spectrometry and computer modeling, simulations and molecular dynamics.
