A good start for this would be "English as first language"... by this I mean learning to speak english, we would need some sound files of basic words and example of proper sentence structures so they can learn to talk and read... an example would be the picture of an apple with "Apple" written under it as a link to a sound file that of a friendly voice saying "Apple".Would it be posible to add sound clips? The layout of the page should be child-friendly, not too complicated, attractive and colorful --Halyks 10:20, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

I started the page using a template that was developed as a way to begin Wikiversity schools that will organize the development of learning resources for a broad area of study (example). It is up to participants to develop and add the learning resources. --JWSchmidt 14:29, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
