- The School of Orthodox Christian Studies was founded October 25, 2007 generally to pursue Orthodox Christian studies and particularly to receive the former Department of Orthodox Christian Studies of the Wikiversity School of Theology, which was replaced in that school by a Center for Eastern Orthodox Studies.
- This new School now begins with a sole Department, that of Orthodox Christian Studies, which Department offers an Orthodox Christianity Stream as its sole Learning Project. Participants are advised and encouraged to contribute to the Stream and to expand the School.
- The Department was founded February 19, 2007.
