Pen tool

The pen tool is a path creator. You can create smooth paths that you can stroke with a brush or turn to a selection. This tool is effective for designing, selecting smooth surfaces, or layout. The paths can also be used in Adobe illustrator when the document is edited in Adobe illustrator. The paths themselves are not raster based (they don't depend on pixels.)
