The North Carolina Technology Student Association (or NCTSA) is a branch of its international parent organization, the w:Technology Student Association. NCTSA usually has the third or fourth largest delegation in the United States and holds annual state conferences in April at the w:Joseph Koury Convention Center and Four Seasons-Sheraton in w:Greensboro, North Carolina.

The NCTSA sate conferences last three days and are very similar to the national conferences. As a student-led organization, elections for state office are also held during the conference and the elected state officer team is headed by the state advisor Mrs. Kathleen Squibb of Clinton High School.

For the First Time in NCTSA history the Great State of North Carolina put forth a candidate for National Office. During the national conference in Nashville, TN, Michael McKnight, a student from Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro NC and NCTSA State President, was elected to the office of National TSA Treasurer.
