The associated page is used in conjunction with the Mediawiki SpamBlacklist extension, and lists strings of text that override Meta's blacklist and the local spam-blacklist. Any administrator can edit the spam whitelist. Please post comments to the appropriate section below: Proposed additions (sites to unblock), Proposed removals (sites to block), or Troubleshooting and problems; read the messageboxes at the top of each section for an explanation. See also MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.

Please enter your requests at the bottom of the Proposed additions to Whitelist section and sign your requests with four tildes: ~~~~

Also in your request, please include the following

  1. The link that you want whitelisted in section title, like === example.com ===
  2. The page that you want to use the link on.
  3. Explain why it would be useful to the encyclopedia article proper.

Completed requests are archived, additions and removal are logged. →snippet for logging: {{/request|740898#section_name}}

Note that requests from new and unregistered users are not usually considered.

Admins: use seth's tool to search the spamlists.

[edit] Proposed additions to whitelist (sites to unblock)

[edit] lenr-canr.org

This site was blacklisted at meta based on primarily on allegations that the site is fringe and therefore not reliable source, which, even if it were true, does not apply on Wikiversity. There was no spam of the type that ordinarily justifies blacklisting, and other claims that were made there were not supported in later discussion. On en.wikipedia, almost every whitelist request has been granted, see [1]. Lenr-canr.org is a web archive of papers related to Cold fusion, often peer-reviewed, mostly published elsewhere, for which permission has been obtained. This is a critical resource for the study of this field. I have added one page to the list of books for Cold fusion, lenr-canr.org/acrobat/BeaudetteCexcessheat.pdf, and I give below what I believe is the regex to whitelist the entire site or just the one page.

\blenr-canr\.com\b
\blenr-canr\.org/acrobat/BeaudetteCexcessheat\.pdf\b
