Here is the story

This is a very simple story. That is why it is a good example for an editing lesson.

*Note: The story of Penny and Eggbert is based on a true story.

The Story of Penny and Eggbert

Once upon a time, there was a penguin named Penny and a duck named Eggbert. (They come from a strange land called "3D Universe" in Africa. Strange, isn't it!)

One day, Eggert said to Penny, "Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack."

Penny replied, "Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep!"

This made Eggbert very excited and he said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack."

And that is the end of our story.

The formatted script

Just like a real motion picture, I turned the story into a script.

Eggbert and Penny have a conversation.

EGGBERT

Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack.

PENNY

Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep!

EGGBERT

Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack.

FADE TO BLACK.
