Introduction to History of the USSR [edit]
The Soviet Union was established formally in 1922, but this course aims to cover its beginnings as the Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic, and to trace the history of the Communist Party in Russia and the USSR. The course also aims to establish a knowledge of the political structure and the general nature of the USSR. Hopefully having taken this the student will feel more confident in his or her understanding of the Soviet Union.
