Jump to: navigation, search

An essay is generally a non-fiction text of between approximately 800 and 15,000 words. Essays are amongst the common forms of educational assessment, particularly in secondary and tertiary education. They also provide a key form of knowledge communication and professional critique in academia. Essays are often published in serials, such as journals.
