This learning resource chronicles a debate between --- and --- over the following statement: The Bible indicates that God hates the homosexual. --- believes that the Bible does, unequivocally, and --- believes that according to scripture, God both hates and loves the homosexual.

- The debate will last over a period of 30 days, after which it will be followed by a 7-day period of voting.
- The first 28 days will be split into four weeks, each of which will have its own subtopic.
- The two opponents will alternate starting a subtopic; thus each will begin two subtopics.
- Each subtopic will be broken down into seven days, throughout which the debaters will alternate responses. For example, if opponent 1 started on Monday, opponent 2 would respond on Tuesday. Opponent 1 would then continue on Wednesday, the alternating pattern enduring until Sunday
- After the 28 days of debate, two more days are allocated to provide closing responses.
